Another modeling gig for another bridal show. How much fun can a girl have in one day I ask you?

This is the first dress I had on.

When I asked Mark what dress he liked best, he said “I like the first one you had on.”

So I said “This IS the first one I have on!”

I have two secret weapons to making the best French Toast ever! The first is this:

Potato flour is the secret to making perfect bread. And it is oh so very Swedish. There is a terrific recipe for homemade potato bread at the King Arthur Flour website. It also helps to have a pan de mai — this bread is perfect for French toast.

The next three secret ingredients are:

Farm Fresh eggs from the three red hens and the five new crazy white hens. Whole raw milk, right from the cow with the cream still on top, and Vanilla Sugar. From Sweden.

One kid to eat them faster than I can make them.

Poor Lula, her cat died a week ago and she has been so depressed. We decided to fix that by visiting our small town animal shelter. We walked out with not one, but two cats! One took a shine to Bean — so she ended up with a cat too. A spare is always good to have around I guess.

I even tried a little app on you blog so that when I post here Facebook posts a little “your blog has been updated” linky thing, but that only worked like 2 times and then quit.
